Leadership does not happen in isolation. It happens in relationships: primarily your relationship with self, and also your relationship with others. Let me explain.

 

As humans we tend to carry around old unhelpful beliefs that disempower us and keep us small; stories we repeat to ourselves… mindsets and narratives that might have helped us, (for example stay safe) decades ago, but which now are actually holding back our leadership. Right now, as you read this, you might be aware of some of your limiting stories, but it’s possible some might be playing out without you even being aware. And while we might think our team or colleagues can’t observe what’s going on inside us, these stories actually leak out in our behaviours and rituals and impact how we lead others.

 

Not only that, but we also have inner superpowers we’re often not aware of – inner strengths, skills and tools that could help our leadership flourish. So, you, your leadership and your team might miss out on those.

 

To make this even more challenging, leaders are mostly under tremendous pressure with constant change, deliver more with less, be focused on tasks, and on what needs to be done. So, we don’t do our inner work on ourselves, don’t get conscious on how we are being, and continue those unhelpful behaviours. Things never change.

 

But… if you take time and deeply connect to yourself and all your wonder and wisdom, you will raise your self-awareness, see more possibilities, and as a result, your leadership will shift.

Leadership coaching can be difficult: reflecting on soul-searching questions and confronting your truths can require tremendous courage. It is also adventurous, uplifting, inspiring and invigorating. HOW THIS WORKS: MY 4-STEP PROCESS

Leadership coaching follows my 4-step Discovery, Design, Delivery and Deploy process:

Discovery starts with a 30-minute Chemistry Call (on Zoom) where we’ll meet up, discuss your relationship issue and crucially, see how we fit together.

Then typically, but not always, we’ll use the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP), a true breakthrough 360° assessment tool that very quickly answers the question: “How are my behaviors and mindset enabling or constraining my intended leadership impact and our business performance?”

The LCP is one of the most comprehensive leadership assessments available. It is the first to connect a well-researched suite of competencies, shown to be the most critical behaviours and skill sets for leaders, with the underlying and motivating habits of thought and inner states of being. It brings the key issues to the surfaces instantly, thus accelerating the leadership coaching.

After the 360° assessments are completed, at the Debrief Call we will explore your Leadership Circle Profile and what challenges it’s pointing to.

I’ll then Design a bespoke programme delivering relevant leadership models plus coaching conversations for us to explore and unlock your leadership potential.

In Delivery our journey unfolds! Each coaching session is 60 minutes with email support between sessions. At times it might feel more conversational, at other times more structured as we, for example, explore a model together and get curious about how it relates to what’s currently going on in your leadership and points to what’s next for you. At times it’ll feel structured, at others edgy, challenging, even disruptive. But always learning!

Where relevant, I’ll send you useful tools, models or exercises as a follow up to our coaching sessions to give you additional support. And you get my 100% commitment to your leadership and you achieving your goals.

You will have 6 or 12 leadership coaching sessions, typically every three to four weeks, with flexibility so it’s right for your personal experience and needs. The leadership coaching sessions on Zoom.

Then Deploy, where you get to apply your learnings from the sessions into real life, practice new mindsets, behaviours to make the shifts you’re looking for. This is about – with your increased awareness – taking responsibility for how you show up as a leader. The outcome of these actions creates new learnings (Discovery) which you will bring to the next leadership coaching sessions for even more opportunities for growth in your leadership!
